Thank you sister. I love soul sisters and her voices. I haven't seen this post until it was linked on Throwbackmusic. And thank you for Three Degrees on his blog.
I remember the first time I heard Through Misty Eyes, I fell in love with that song! Now it's one of my all time favorites by The Three Degrees.
This was a very nice read, containing facts that I never knew of. Thank you... Oh yeah, don't forget their appearance on Sanford & Son back in '72 or '73. These ladies could ACT too! Finally, the fact that you share this very hard to find collection with the world speaks volumes. Last I checked, finding a copy in an online store is about as easy as finding a hen's tooth.
Great set of tunes. Lots to like here. Sugar on Sunday is an interesting tune. Thanks!
Thank you so much for sharing this great collection!I am just sad I cannot get the single track you have posted for listening only. with my dial-up there is no listening, unfortunately. I must download everything completely before I can start listening. But I would be very interested in the recording with Three Dregrees & Harold Melvin! If you have time, would you put up an mp3 to download? That would make me very happy! Thank you!
Now I have found your hint (under another post) regarding the mp3 download, and it worked. They must have changed something, because it used to have only streaming/playing when I had checked that out before. I am so happy that I can download these single files now! And I came back to this post, because you know it was bugging me not to have that version. Now I have it, thank you!! And I am enjoying it!
